I am a legal academic specialising in company law. The economic and social importance of the company is such that company law needs to be fit for purpose. Interference by the state through inappropriate regulation of companies can have serious consequences for a country and the welfare of its inhabitants. My research - some of which has been controversial - brings together economic, historical, legal and theological perspectives to bear on company law and its reform. The purpose of this web site is to communicate and provoke debate. The web site includes full text abstracts, articles and papers written (or co-written) by me.
